Captain Andy’s held a very successful Open Day on Saturday 26th October. There were many special offers and good deals and we are pleased to say that a great many people turned up to take advantage of these offers. The weather may have put off a few punters but those who came were able to try out the hi-tech fishing simulator and test our own fibreglass kayak and Quintrex 250.
We were lucky enough to have Capt. Saidi and Mtwali, from White Mischief rigging tackle in the shop and they were kept very busy discussing the different knots, line weights and traces used for catching those illusive fish off our shores.
Dr Simon Hemphill also joined us and we are most grateful for the time he spent discussing fishing techniques with many eager listeners.
Our new line of Quintrex boats seemed to be the biggest hit of the day with a great deal of interest in the latest models. We do still have some in stock but they are selling fast!
