Captain Andy’s sent a “formidable” team down to Diani to join the 5th International Touch Rugby Tournament. 

The tournament in Diani, as in the last two years, supported the Age Grade Program which was begun by the Rugby Patrons Society together with the Kenya Rugby Football Union. The object of the program is to encourage school children, boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 16 to play touch rugby, to develop their skills and hopefully identify talent at an early age. The sum of Ksh 450,000 was raised this year.

While we understand their rugby wasn’t quite up to scratch we hear that their “coconuts” impressed all?!
