Danny Thomas & Sean Darnborough have been fishing in Mida Creek now that the wind is blowing and the seas are rough – not so nice for deep sea fishing! Having grown up on Mida Creek they know the water well & report that this week has been unusually exciting with some large koli and karambesi coming in after big shoals of mullet. They spent a couple of days doing some ground work, formulating & refining their fishing plans and they were finally rewarded on Tuesday with this good sized fish weighing in at about 15kgs:

Nick landed a 30.5kg karambesi on the same rod, reel and popper!
