Having grown up in Diani, on Kenya’s Southern coast, Bryan has been surrounded by the marine and boating industry from a young age, with his first summer job in the industry at age 14. 

Bryan first came across Captain Andy’s in 2013, where he did a short internship before starting his degree at Southampton Solent University. He graduated from SSU with a BEng (1st Hons) in Yacht Design & Production, as well as gaining a commercial Yacht Masters (200t). 

After a few years working as a sportfishing captain in Kenya and the Cape Verde Islands, he settled back in Watamu and joined the Captain Andy’s team, as Factory Manager & Naval Architect for their new boat factory.
